Slide number tiles, merge equal ones, and reach 2048. One-step undo, and your game is saved automatically.

How to play 2048, and a strategy

Each swipe moves every tile in one direction. Two tiles with the same value that collide merge into one worth double, then a new tile (2 or 4) appears in an empty spot. The classic strategy: keep your largest tile in one corner and keep that row full, so big tiles never get stuck in the middle. Your game is saved on this device, so you can resume anytime, even offline.

How to install the app

This browser has not offered an automatic install button yet. Install it from the browser menu:

Android (Chrome)
Tap the ⋮ menu at the top right, then choose "Install app" or "Add to Home screen".
iPhone / iPad (Safari)
