Congkak (Mancala)

A traditional Indonesian mancala game: sow seeds around the board, fill your store, and capture your opponent’s seeds. Two players on one device or against an AI.

How to play congkak

Congkak is played on a board with 7 small holes per player and a large store at each end, starting with 7 seeds in every hole. A player picks up all the seeds from one hole on their side and drops them one by one. If the last seed lands in a filled hole, those seeds are picked up and sown again. Landing in your own store earns another turn, and landing in an empty hole on your side captures the seeds in the opposite hole. It trains counting and planning ahead.
