Sliding 15 Puzzle

The classic sliding puzzle in 3×3, 4×4, and 5×5, with numbers or an island picture. Tap or swipe tiles, count moves and time, keep your best.

Always solvable

The board is shuffled by making random slides from the solved position, so every puzzle can be solved (half of all random 15-puzzle layouts are actually impossible). Slide tiles into the empty space until the numbers are in order from the top left, or until the island picture is whole again. Start with 3×3, then try 4×4 and 5×5. Your best moves are saved on your device for each size.

How to install the app

This browser has not offered an automatic install button yet. Install it from the browser menu:

Android (Chrome)
Tap the ⋮ menu at the top right, then choose "Install app" or "Add to Home screen".
iPhone / iPad (Safari)
Tap the Share button (the square with an up arrow), then choose "Add to Home Screen". On iOS this only works in Safari.
Computer (Chrome / Edge)
Click the install icon (a monitor with a down arrow) at the right end of the address bar, or menu ⋮ → "Install Daily Apps".
