Stack

Stack blocks as high as you can without toppling. A physics game about center of mass and balance.

Why do towers topple?

Every object has a center of mass: the point where all its weight seems to be concentrated. A stack stays up as long as a vertical line through its center of mass still lands on its base. Once the center of mass moves past the edge of the base, gravity rotates the stack and it falls. The green line in this game shows where your tower’s center of mass is. Try to keep it in the middle.
