From a cart to a branch

Each day the player decides how many portions to make, the selling price, whether to advertise, whether to hire a helper, and how much to put into an emergency fund. Random events such as rain, festivals, broken equipment, or rising ingredient prices make every day different. A daily report and a profit chart with plain numbers help children see how stock, price, capacity, and profit connect. To grow from a cart to a kiosk, a shop, and finally a branch, children need to put profit back into the business, and the emergency fund helps on bad days.
