Base64 Encoder/Decoder

Encode and decode Base64 for text (UTF-8, emoji included) and files, with URL-safe and data URI options.

What is Base64?

Base64 turns binary data into text made of 64 safe characters (A–Z, a–z, 0–9, + and /), so it can travel through JSON, email, or URLs. The result is about 33% larger than the original. The URL-safe variant swaps + and / for - and _. File mode produces a data URI you can drop straight into HTML or CSS.
